Well, I know a thing about contrition,
Because I got enough to spare.
And I'll be granting your permission,
'Cause you haven't got a prayer.
Well I said hey, hey hallelujah,
I'ma come on sing the praise.
And let the spirit come on through ya,
We got innocence for days!

Well, People Say I'm Like This...¿ Two words can be used to describe Luxord and his personality: game and luck. To start off, Luxord is a very hard gambler, seeing that to him, everything is a game in which there are winners and losers. The Nobody even refers to life as a game everyone plays and that it is influenced by lady luck and not only by skill and instincts. He is often seen asking his fellow Nobodies “How's the game been treating you?” obviously referring to life. This extends to his whole vocabulary and he often uses metaphors regarding games, cards and chance.
Like the gambler he is, Luxord leaves many things to chance, such as battles and certain events. If he is currently in a battle to the death, he will let fate decide if he wins or dies by resorting to games of luck and chance; this bothers other people endlessly because one would think that fate should not be left to chance, but he really doesn’t care, he loves to gambling too much and even risks an entire mission over a silly game of chance.
And regarding games that involve dice, cards and others, Luxord is the master, unbeatable and very confident regarding this, often getting wealthy out of bets he takes from his games.
On another note, Luxord is a very sophisticated Nobody, often showing it through the use of various “big words”, as some people use it to describe them. His british accent only helps him maintain that sophisticated look.
He is also a dangerous wielder of the rhetoric, often using it to play around with the others, making them bicker at each other. He finds it ever so fun to see them quarrel over such trivial subjects and even pouts slightly whenever someone interrupts them.
Regarding emotions and hearts, Luxord could care less. He is a Nobody, so emotions are something he lacks, thus why he cannot show sympathy towards anyone or show any emotion for that matter.

Well, This Is How I Roll... ¿ Luxord’s fighting style is very interesting and absurd at the same time. Utilising his cards he relies on luck, thus his attacks can be devastating for his opponent or for him. He often scatters his cards and hides among the bobby trapped ones thus giving his opponent a chance to hit him, though should they have the misfortune of hitting one that is not him, they will find out just how unlucky they are.
It’s rare for Luxord to use the power of Time in battle, though he will should his opponent have anything that can shift the balance to his favour so that the match becomes fair for both of them.
I Also Use This...¿
Fair Game: Luxord’s weapon of choice. This isn’t a weapon, more like hundreds of them. They are razor-sharp cards with Nobody symbols on one side and a Roman number clock on the other. The cards come in all sizes and it is believed that Luxord can alter their size whenever needed. It is obvious that it’s not a just a simple deck, it has magical properties that allow them to execute various and impressive maneuvers such as absorbing magical spells, explode whenever booby trapped by Luxord, be used as a barrier to protect him from all sorts of attacks, trap his enemies within them, create a card Doppelganger and many more uses. The human-sized cards that Luxord usually summons when battling can be destroyed with a powerful blow.
On another note, the number of cards that Luxord carries around has yet to be determined and some even assume that it is unlimited.
Regarding the symbols on the cards:
-Fireball with a bolt of lightning = Explosive booby trap
-Roman Number clock = Time freeze
-Cross = Dud booby trap
-Circle = Time-gauge boost
-Blank = No effect under normal circumstances

A Little Bit About Me...¿ Like many of the Nobodies that work for the Organization, Luxord’s past is a mystery. No one knows where he came from or who his Somebody is, but what mattered was that he existed, regardless of having no heart to make him whole. Now how he came to be the tenth member to join the Organization is a mystery. Some believe he lost a game of chance against the Superior, others say the Superior beaten him in a battle and others even say he just dropped in on the Castle one day and asked to be a member.
Though his origins are unknown, Luxord maintains the seat as number ten in the Organization and was one of the most active ones mission wise, obeying to Saix whenever a mission was presented by him.
The first few days in the Organization were a bit rough, seeing that he did not know what he was doing in this world, or how he came to be, but after a few missions specially assign for him and with the help of the older members, Luxord found a place in which he could belong, having fun and gambling with the odds.
After him came number eleven, Marluxia the graceful assassin. From the minute Luxord laid eyes on him, he could detect that he was no good, but he figured that he was just a pawn fate had pu into play to make things more interesting.
Then came number twelve, Larxene and she was one to live up to her name, The Savage Nymph. Her attitude was inappropriate for a lady, but Luxord did not care, it did not concern him, except when he was assign to team up with her for certain missions, which he liked to avoid getting stuck with her. She was just so rude and bossy, Luxord could only sigh.
And finally came number thirteen, the “one that would make us whole” as the Superior once described him. Luxord could tell the minute he laid eyes on him that he was special and he was right, given that the boy held the power to summon the powerful weapon known as a Keyblade. With that weapon, the hearts they required to summon Kingdom Hearts were a few missions away. Luxord, like all the other Organization members, aided the boy in his missions and Luxord even got to team up with him whenever he had a mission in Wonderland. The boy had potential and he was an excellent partner, though he needed a little more of a game face in Luxord’s opinion.
On another note, Luxord was also there when “number fourteen”, Xion was presented to the other members and also there when they announced that she was a mere replica. Though it was a surprise, Luxord was “aggravated” because the top members did not inform the others when Xion joined in.
As trouble brew at castle Oblivion, Luxord went on his usual missions, though always paying attention whenever the members called a meeting in the Where Nothing Gathers, so as to know what was happening there. In all honesty, Luxord wasn’t pleased with the whole, choosing Marluxia as the lord of Castle Oblivion, but he figured Xemnas had his reasons. Lady luck probably didn’t want him there.
As fate would turn out, it seemed that a lot of members of the Organization met their end there in that Castle, even Marluxia, who turned out to be a traitor. When Luxord heard that those who were sent there met their demise by the hand of Sora, the keyblade wielder, he smirked and thought “Lady Luck smiled upon me”, “relieved” that the game did not end for him.
After the incident, Luxord lost contact with Roxas for some reason and even thought that the game ended for him. But that did not matter, most of the members met their demise so Luxord had tons of missions to take care off.
One of said missions was at Port Royal, where he conducted a few experiments on behalf of the Organization, regarding the hearts and greed that humans felt. It was also around that time that the remaining Organization members appeared before the key wielder and announced their presence to him. If they were going to summon Kingdom Hearts, they were going to need the aid of the boy, seeing that Roxas was no where to be found.
Luxord did as he was instructed and “Passed out some cards” as he mentioned during a meeting with the other members, referring to the fact that he would poke around a bit and see if he could make Sora do what the Organization wanted him to do.
Though the Gambler’s experiments failed when Sora intervene at Port Royal, though in the midst of said defeat, Luxord was able to acquire what the Organization needed and that was the heart of a massive Heartless that dwelled in that world, so in the end, the Organization did win in that encounter.
Luxord met Sora for the last time in The World that Never Was after another meeting with the other members. He, like all the others in the Organization, met his end by the young keywielder after playing a game with him. He did not regret a single moment in that brawl and he accepted his fate with dignity and figured that lady luck was probably looking the other way while the match was taking place. He did, however, mistook Sora for Roxas and as he faded away, his last words were “How could you…Roxas…”.
Lady Luck however, smiled upon him one last time and for some reason, Luxord was back, though the memories of his past were lost or locked away from him without his knowledge. He often ponders on the feeling that something is missing within him and he feels that the answer is on the tip of his tongue, yet he’s unable to reach out and grab it.

A Sample of Brilliance¿ The gambler smirked at his remark and with a slight smile he replied to his peer, "A gambling pun? I never figured I could grow on you like that Saïx. Making progress indeed.", he then proceeded to collect his cards and shuffle them, paying attention to every word Saïx said. He had learned that every single word that came out of the mouths of every high-ranked member of the Organization was important, after all, the ones in the lower stairs of the staircase needed to find a way to know what the top ones were so secretive about.
"Well I wouldn't expect less from our dear Superior, but you never know. In all honesty, shouldn't the traitors be exiled? Because playing the game with defected pieces is quite bothersome.", Luxord said with a slight, yet fake, worried look.
In all honesty, Luxord could care less what happened to the traitors, because maybe Lady Luck wanted them to be there, playing the game. After all, they did not influence Luxord, nor did they ever influence him in any way, though should they succeed in taking down Xemnas, that would certainly influence Luxord a lot, so he needed to protect his interests if he wanted to continue playing the current game.
Luxord peeked above his shoulder at the sound of heavy footsteps. They were very easy to associate to whom they belonged to, because there was only one nobody in the entire Organization that could walk calmly and make such a noise with his boots. The behemoth of the Organization, whose shear brute force had yet to meet it's match. "Greetings Lexaeus. I trust the game has been treating you well?", Luxord said as he smirked slightly at the man as he got close to the two.
As both of them remarked on the gift they had received, Luxord springed his cards between his hands. Sure they all received a second chance, but did they deserve it? Did they deserve standing against their enemies once again? Luxord could already tell, most would make the exact same mistakes and why did he think like that? Because people do not change the way they operate.
"Oh it's not a matter of sloth, rather a matter if we learned anything from our first defeat. You see, why bother playing again if you make the same mistakes?", Luxord said as he shook his head and shrugged before continuing, "Errors shall always appear unfortunately. Though one can prevent them from appearing in greater numbers by taking a few precautions.", Luxord said as he made his deck disappear with a sleight-of-hand trick.
Now all jokes were aside, this was a serious matter and seeing that Saix was Xemnas' number two, he would be the second best person to discuss with, seeing that the Superior was probably occupied with something.
The Nobody crossed his arms and waited for a reply from the two.
